When registering panel to Smart Security App screen gets stuck and shows 0%

If you are connecting your security panel to Smart Security App and you see this screen for few minutes, please check following settings:

1. Make sure you’ve enabled and saved Cloud Services on your panel (First time registration must be performed using SIM card with mobile data on it, even though you are using ELAN3 module. You can change Cloud Service connection using Eldes Utility -> Cloud Services, Communication Settings. After registration is completed using SIM card, you will be able to use App using ELAN3 module).
2. Make sure SIM card inserted to your central panel has available mobile data.
3. Make sure you typed correct APN settings if it’s needed. To find out APN settings please contact your network operator.
4. Make sure remote configuration session has ended.
5. You can restart your panel for changes to take effect faster if App doesn‘t start after few minutes.

How can I restart my security panel remotely?

Send SMS to SIM card inserted to ESIM384 with text:

XXXX RESET (example: 1111 reset) (SMS can contain upper or lower case letters)

XXXX – Your SMS password. If you don‘t know your SMS password please contact your system installer.

System will inform you automatically via SMS message when ESIM384 will be restarted. This might take up to 2 minutes.

How can I update firmware (FW) for ESIM384 locally?

Before updating FW it is recommended to save configuration file of your security panel.

You can download latest ESIM384 firmware from https://eldesalarms.com/product/esim384/ „Download ESIM384 firmware“ section. Please make sure you are logged in to our webpage to be able download files. When file is downloaded and saved to your PC use following instruction:

1. Disconnect the power supply and backup battery.
2. Short circuit (connect) DEF pins.
3. Connect the device via USB cable to the PC.
4. Power up the device.
5. The new window must pop-up where you will find the .bin file. Otherwise open My Computer and look for Boot Disk drive.
6. Delete the .bin file found in the drive.
7. Copy the new firmware .bin file to the very same window.
8. Power down the device.
9. Unplug USB cable.
10. Remove short circuit from DEF pins.
11. Power up the device.
12. Firmware updated.

How can I update firmware (FW) for ESIM384 remotely?

Send SMS message to SIM card that is inserted to ESIM384 with text:

XXXX FOTA (example: 1111 fota) (SMS can contain upper or lower case letters)

XXXX – Your SMS password. If you don‘t know your SMS password please contact your system installer.

System will inform you automatically via SMS message when FW will be updated. This can take up to 20 minutes depending on GPRS connection speed.

2. Open PITBULL ALARM enclosure.
3. Connect PITBULL ALARM to the PC via USB cable.
4. Press and hold the RESET button.
5. Connect the power supply.
6. Release the RESET button after the new window pops-up containing a .bin file. Otherwise open My Computer
and look for Boot Disk drive.
7. Delete the .bin file located in this drive.
8. Copy and paste in the very same window.
9. After the copying is done, power down PITBULL ALARM.
10. Unplug USB cable.
11. Power up PITBULL ALARM.
12. Firmware upgraded.

What can be done with ESIM364 and ESIM384 through app?

By using ELDES SECURITY app, it is possible to:
•arm and disarm all 4 partitions;
•arm and disarm all 4 partitions in stay mode;
•control up to 48 PGM outputs;
•monitor up to 8 temperature sensors;
•check Log Events, Alarm Events and System Faults.

What I can do with Pitbull Alarm and Pitbull Alarm PRO through app?

By using ELDES SECURITY app, it is possible to:
•arm and disarm the system;
•arm and disarm the system in stay mode;
•control up to 32 PGM outputs;
•Monitor 1 temperature sensor;
•check Log Events, Alarm Events and System Faults.

What devices can still be managed through Eldes Cloud services web interface?

Following devices can be managed through Eldes Cloud services web interface: ESIM120 and ESIM320.

Why cannot I see my devices on Eldes Security app?

Eldes Security app supports only these devices: ESIM384 (all versions) and Pitbull Alarm PRO (all versions);  and ESIM364 with firmware version higher than V02.10.00; Pitbull Alarm with firmware version higher than V01.02.00.

ATTENTION! We highly recommend you to update any possessed device to the newest firmware version, in order to avoid any unexpected inconvenience.

Every other device (including Pitbull Alarm with firmware up to V01.02.00; ESIM364 with firmware up to V02.10.00) is NOT supported by Eldes Security App.

ESIM320 2G/3G

What software should I use for ESIM120/320 configuration?

ESIM120/320 can only be configured using Configuration Tool software. You can download Configuration Tool from https://eldesalarms.com/product/configuration-tool/

How can I connect to my ESIM120/320 device to perform configuration?

Device must be connected to power supply and powered on (please see manual for supply voltage required). 

There are several ways connecting to device:

1. You can do this locally using USB cable and Configuration Tool software installed on your Windows PC.

2. You can connect to device remotely using Configuration Tool software. Open Configuration Tool on your Windows PC, press Remote Connection Setup and follow instructions in Configuration Tool. For remote connection to your ESIM120/320, SIM card that is inserted to device must have available mobile data!

3. You can connect to device using web Cloud interface on https://gates.eldesalarms.com/en/user/login.html 

After performing any changes on web interface always press Synchronize button for changes to be saved to device.

Before connecting to web interface device must have Cloud Services connected on your device. Please contact your gate administrator to check if this function is enabled. Also make sure SIM card inserted in your ESIM120/320 has mobile data on it!

How can I restart my gate controller remotely?

Send SMS to SIM card inserted to ESIM120/320 with text:

Why my ESIM120/320 do not drop call and rings till it goes to mailbox?

Please update FW to latest version. If problem remains, please change another SIM card operator.

1. Power down the device.

I‘ve changed my smartphone and can not add gate widget/app, it says that my account is already in use (I‘ve deleted widget/app from my previous smartphone). How can I solve this?

You have to use Clear ID function on your web interface https://gates.eldesalarms.com/en/user/login.html. Connect to your Gate controller, select User Database, find user who can not log in, press Edit, check box to Clear ID function.

If you can‘t access your gate controller, please contact your gate administrator.

I want to register new gate controller widget/app on my smartphone, it asks for login information. What login details should I provide?

Phone number – international format of Your personal phone number

Password – last 6 digits of Your phone number

Android Widget users only:

Change password to – type any password you like.

How to setup ESIM120/ESIM320 to work with my smartphone?

Download  ESIM120/ESIM320 Smart Gate Manual.  It covers every step from connecting Gate Controller to Eldes Smart Security server to setting it up with your smartphone.

Why is it easier to use mobile widget than application shortcut?

The installed widget allows you to control ESIM120 and ESIM320 while you talk on your phone. You do not need to end the conversation in order to open/close the gates.
If you are a service provider, you can set a service fee that will be charged after creating a widget account.

How can I reset my ESIM264 to default?

You can reset your panel to default with these easy steps:

NOTE! After reseting panel to default all settings will be lost. Save configuration file first.

1. Disconnect the power supply and backup battery
2. Short circuit (Connect) DEF pins on the panel board
3. Power up the device for 7 seconds.
4. Power down the device.
5. Remove short circuit from DEF pins.
6. Parameters restored to default.
