Admin Role Feature Is Now Available

You asked — we delivered. The latest Eldes Security app update introduces a long-requested admin role feature, removing the need for workarounds such as Dual Apps or multiple app instances. User administration is now easier, faster, and more flexible.

We have introduced a more intuitive way to add users to your location. Access rights can now be granted not only to newly created email accounts, but also to any existing Eldes Security user — whether they are an owner or a regular user in another location. To support this, we have also streamlined the user-management section:

  • The username field has been removed
  • Administrators no longer set passwords for new users
  • Each user manages their own password, reducing setup complexity and improving security

This improvement was implemented on the server side, so all app users receive the new functionality automatically — including those using older-generation panels such as ESIM364ESIM384, or Pitbull alarm systems, not to mention the current ESIM484. Please ensure your app is updated to the latest version to guarantee full compatibility. The update does not affect any existing users or their current access rights — it only improves the future user-management experience.

If you previously used third-party tools such as Dual Apps to run multiple Eldes Security accounts, we recommend removing those additional app instances. Access rights can now be assigned directly to your existing account, making extra copies unnecessary. If you have any questions or need assistance, feel free to contact us.
