How to install EGR100 software?
Download EGR100, valid email is required to get a download link. It will be sent to provided email.
Create new folder for software. Extract downloaded files and place them into created folder.
Run GPRSmodule.exe it will install and run the program.
How to setup connection between EGR100 and Monitoring Station over IP?
Go to Settings tab in EGR100;
Enter IP address and port in [OUT] MS Serial Port or MS TCP IP:Port. Example 192.168.0.1:6003. Make sure ports are available on computer of virtual machine. Setting up port may require assistance of IT staff.
Set up the receiving port on Monitoring Station to receive IP signals.
Check the Monitoring Station if you receive signals from EGR100.
How to setup connection between EGR100 and Monitoring Station over Serial Port?
Go to Settings tab in EGR100;
Enter serial port number in [OUT] MS Serial Port or MS TCP IP:Port. Choose serial port for communication to Monitoring software. Physical port COM1, COM2… or virtual CNCA1, CNCA2… can be used. Make sure ports are available on computer or virtual machine. Setting up port may require assistance of IT staff.
Set up the receiving serial port on Monitoring Station to receive Surgard MLR2-DG protocol over serial port.
Connect two serial ports physically by serial cable or link virtual ports by 3rd party serial port emulator.
Check MS online indicator status to identify if connection is successful.
Additionally Check the Monitoring Station if you receive signals from EGR100.
How to setup connection between EGR100 and Eldes security panels or communicators?
Open Settings tab and set up [IN] TCP/UDP Server Listen Port to receive signals from Eldes devices. It require at least one external port forwarded to the machine on which EGR100 is running. Additional ports will be required if Viewer and WEB API is used. Setting up port forwarding may require assistance of IT staff;
Use Eldes Utility to setup device to communicate using EGR100 protocol. Create communication channel and configure it by setting up Server IP and Server port;
To check communication, generate CID event on Eldes device. For example simply Arm/Disarm system.
Inspect “All msg” tab for upcoming events. (if no event received check the port availability on IP address). To check IP port availability, we recommend using Port checker : www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/
If events are received, communication between Eldes device and EGR100 is setup successfully.

ATTENTION! READ BEFORE INSTALLING!
Before updating EGR100 to v3.07 make sure there is no Unit ID 0000 available in All devices list
For correct EGR100 operation Unit ID value can not be 0000
Otherwise EGR100 v3.07 will inform you about it with a COMM TROUBLE for all devices which have Unit ID 0000
To avoid this you could change Unit ID by using this methods:
Change Unit ID for device using EGR100 (right click on device -> Important cmd -> Change UnitID)
Change Unit ID using REMOTE connection to device
Change Unit ID by going physically to the site
Only after performing this procedure proceed with the update.
